Umar Padela

Umar Padela is a mechanical engineer from Massachusetts. At Aquatic, he works on the design and prototyping of eDNA sampling and carbon sensor systems. Before Aquatic, Umar worked on aerodynamics and aircraft design at Harvard and MIT. He enjoys working on complex, open-ended engineering projects, and is excited to contribute to ocean monitoring technology at Aquatic.
