Shaun Brown

Shawn is a lab engineer with a decade of experience spanning formulation chemistry, analytical testing, and materials science. Before joining Aquatic Labs, he spent ten years at enVerid Systems, where he rose from Lab Engineer to Lead Scientist, ultimately serving as the technical lead for commercial-scale production of the company's proprietary sorbent media and air filtration products. In that role, he developed and managed sorbent media and system validation programs, served as the subject matter expert on sorbent capability for indoor air quality and carbon capture applications, and led R&D on novel polymers, filtration technologies, and direct air capture systems.

Earlier in his career, Shawn worked as a QC Analyst at PCI Synthesis and a Lab Technician at Epoxy Technology, building deep hands-on expertise across a wide range of analytical instrumentation — including HPLC, GC, FT-IR, Karl Fischer titration, and particle size analysis — in cGMP-regulated environments.
