Margaret Sullivan

Margaret is a Mechanical Engineer and Oceanographer originally from the first and best state – Delaware. While obtaining her Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she found her love for ocean research working with the Open Ocean Initiative at the MIT Media Lab. Margaret continued her education at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in UCSD with research that focused on oceanographic sampling from robotic platforms. At Scripps, she earned her Masters in Mechanical Engineering and her research took her all over the world from Alaska to Palau. Margaret has now moved back to Boston to join Aquatic Labs and work on the exciting mechanical challenges that deploying sensors in the ocean brings! 

On weekends, Margaret loves to play basketball, cheer on her Eagles and 76ers, and get outside surfing or skiing.
