Manish Devana

Manish is an Oceanographer and Embedded Systems Engineer from Berkeley, California. He did his PhD at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science in Miami where studied deep ocean currents in the North Atlantic using a broad range of observational and numerical methods. Before arriving at Aquatic Labs, Manish was a Postdoctoral Investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution where he worked on developing and deploying ocean biogeochemical measurement systems. At Aquatic Labs Manish works on the development of novel sensor technologies, ocean data management, and deployment operations. Manish is also playing a key role in the team’s business development and aims to help build robust and trustworthy measurement systems for the growing marine CDR industry.

Outside of work Manish is usually found off on adventures with his dog, surfing, mountain biking, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
