Chris Schoener

Chris is a local from Southborough, MA! He studied Software Engineering and some math at Penn State. After that he followed his dreams and moved to the west coast, working at Facebook for four years on their A/B experimentation platform. Ultimately Covid led him back home to Boston and after some time at Google he was stoked to join Aquatic Labs and apply his data engineering skillset to the world of oceanography. He gets excited about solving real-world problems, helping people, and learning about other fields of engineering.

In his personal life, Chris focuses on grabbing rebounds while playing pickup basketball, skiing the ice of New England, and is always up for a game of Chess, Go, or League of Legends.
