Bryan McLaughlin

Bryan is a hardware engineer with a diverse set of electrical engineering and hardware product development skills. He relocated back to the East Coast from the San Francisco Bay Area after spending nearly a decade engineering products in the semiconductor, consumer electronics, autonomous vehicle, and energy storage spaces. Having worked on ambitious and complex hardware at several startups, he brings those lessons learned to Aquatic Labs throughout the full design cycle, from concept to production. In addition to building hardware, Bryan is passionate about building team culture and helping startup teams evolve and scale as the company goes through rapid growth.

As an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer, it’s a special opportunity at Aquatic Labs to apply his love of engineering toward solving problems that matter for our oceans. Bryan spends his time outside of work enjoying the outdoors, playing bass guitar in local bands, and sharing quality time with his wife and baby.
