Lauren Zarama

Lauren serves as Chief of Staff at Aquatic Labs, bringing extensive experience in building startups with her focus on business development, strategy, and entrepreneurial finance. Prior to Aquatic Labs, Lauren launched InKemia Green Chemicals, a green chemistry startup, in partnership with the InKemia research group in Spain, and ran the company as CEO for five years. There she built the business development pipeline of partnerships and joint ventures with industries to develop and commercialize green chemical technologies. Following her time at InKemia, Lauren was an early hire at Inceptive, a Palo Alto based startup using machine learning for the rational design of novel, broadly accessible medicines and biotechnologies.
