Heather Armstrong

Heather Armstrong brings over a decade of hardware innovation and technical program management expertise to Aquatic Labs as Senior Technical Program Manager. Her career spans from aerospace to advanced materials, having led manufacturing engineering for actuators and motors at Joby Aviation's groundbreaking eVTOL aircraft program, and building a complete graphene production facility from the ground up at NanoXplore—scaling operations from 25 to 4,000 tons per year. Heather's hands-on approach combines deep technical knowledge with exceptional execution: she's built hardware that flies on real aircraft, managed complex automation systems through commissioning and production, and navigated the full product lifecycle from feasibility studies to scaled manufacturing.
